Dhik Dhik Thara is a story about rowing champion, Brandon Miles and his wife Angela, who had come to Alleppy for the finals of the Annual Nehru Snake Boat Race in the year 2004. They had a dream of putting together a team for the World Amateur Rowing Championship, Warc.

Summary of the Book

Brandon and Angela have come to Alleppy to take part in the Annual Nehru Snake Boat Race. However, after winning the race, Brandon’s medal and honour is taken away from him as he is caught for foul play. Though he was proven to be innocent later, it was too late. He had to migrate to London. His dream was to be a rowing coach, and form a team that would eventually do something that no one in the world had ever done. This story is one of how Brandon and Angela worked towards putting a team together and making their dreams come to life. Also, they made heroes out of quiet people who came from the small town of Alleppy. This is an inspiring story of how one can be a champion just by doing nothing but believing in themselves.
