This book deals with the issue of introduction of electoral reforms in the present democratic scenario including constitutional checks and safeguards exercised by judiciary on electoral process and on constitutional bodies associated with it like the Election Commission. To obtain a broader perspective, various aspects of judicial review on election laws in India as well as those of Europe (with particular emphasis on United Kingdom), United States of America and their impact on promoting electoral reforms have been studied and after effects are analysed as a part of this book.
