Vijender Kumar has more than eighteen years of teaching experience. He is a known expert on Hindu law and has delivered lectures on facets of Hindu law and Research Methodology at several National Law Universities in India. Prof. Kumar is engaged in active research in family law and has published more than 40 research papers in reputed law journals and books. He has authored two books books entitled "Hindu Law of Adoption: Principles and Precedents" (2004) and "Law Relating to Domestic Violence" (2007) published by S. Gogia and Company, Hyderabad. He has revised a book entitled "Family Law in India" originally written by G.C.V. Subba Rao, 8" edition, 2003, 9th edition, 2006, and 10th edition, 2012 , and also co-edited a book titled "Global Perspectives in Consumer Law" (2011) published by S. Gogia and Company, Hyderabad. Prof. Kumar has also revised J.D. Maynes "Hindu Law and Usage" (16 edition 2008 and 17 edition 2014) and reviewed nearly three dozen books from different law publishers and authors. Prof. Kumar had been a visiting faculty at NADT (National Academy of Direct Taxes), Nagpur. Prof. Kumar has attended and presented papers in several national and international conferences / seminars / workshops. During his stay at Kings College London, Prof. Kumar has served the College as Visiting Professor of Family Law. Presently Prof. Kumar is serving as the founding Vice-Chancellor of Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur and before joining MNLU, Nagpur he served National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam as its Vice-Chancellor and NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad as its Professor of Law and the Registrar.
Naresh Kumar Vats is serving as Professor of Law at Maharashtra National Law University Nagpur. Professor Vats did his Ph.D. and LL.M. from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and LL.B. from Barkatullaha Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. He passed UGC (NET) Law in Dec 2003. He has also done M.B.A. (HR) and PGDPM and LW and Interpretership Diploma in (Sinhala) foreign language. Professor Vats has worked as Associate Professor at National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam and Institute of Law, Kurukshetra University, Kuruksehtra, BGC Trust University Bangladesh, Chittagong-Bangladesh, Institute of Law and Research (formerly National Institute of Law) Faridabad, Haryana. He has delivered several Special Lectures on Taxation and Business Law in MBA and Refresher Course in Kurukshetra University. Professor Vats has twenty-three research papers to his credit published in countrys reputed Law Journals. He has also presented twenty-five research papers at various International and National Conferences/Seminars and Workshops. He is the Editor of forthcoming maiden issue of Contemporary Law Review Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur.
Vijay Pratap Tiwari is working at National Law University, Nagpur as an Associate Professor of Law. After Graduating from Delhi University, Delhi, Dr. Tiwari has obtained his Masters Degree in Constitutional Law and Human Rights from Nagpur University, Ph.D. in Law on Medical Negligence and Consumer Protection from National Law University, Jodhpur; NET in Law, M.A. (in Hindi) and PGJMC. His areas of teaching / research interest are Constitutional Law and Administrative Law, Consumer Protection Laws, Family Law, Laws relating to Women and Child and Human Rights. He has organised and delivered lectures in a number of Workshops, Conferences and Capacity Building Programmes for Judges, Civil Servants, Police Officers, NGOs on a variety of topics and has published several research papers. Earlier Dr. Tiwari was associated with NLU, Assam, Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (Affiliated to GGS IP University), Delhi; Integrated School of Law (Affiliated to CCS University), Ghaziabad, and National Law University, Jodhpur.
